Head Forming

Focusing on the question and visual context of physical mental emotional and spiritual healing, Regenerations series explores new earth based raw materials and alchemical processes. This work introduces the use of salts to generate crystal growth within the work. I was influenced by my practice of working with mineral based crystals in my spiritual practice to help clear, guide and open my awareness. I wanted to explore and see how to bring that same presence to the work not only through the material but with intentional healing. This process is experimental, I am drawn by an intuitive inkling, research and sense of wonder to see ‘what if’.
